Communities Covered Around Merced
Requests through this site cover Merced and the Valley ring around it — the 99 corridor's cities, the almond belt north and east, the west-side farm country, and the foothill edge. Eighteen communities have their own pages below.
The corridor cities
Up and down the 99: Atwater and its Castle-era streets, shift-working Livingston, growing Delhi at the north edge, and Chowchilla anchoring the south. Cohort plats, veteran grids, and working commercial tiers.
Close-in and campus
On the city's shoulders: Franklin and Bear Creek minutes out, the UC Merced corridor's new plats and student rentals, and the settled county lots of McSwain and Tuttle.
The almond belt and the east side
Through the orchards: Winton, Cressey, and Ballico in the northern belt, Planada on the Yosemite road, and Le Grand in the eastern orchards — where the shake-season dust cycle is the door calendar.
The west side and the foothill edge
West into canal country: El Nido's dairies and Dos Palos at the southwest reach. East where the Valley climbs: historic Snelling on the Merced River and Gold Rush Hornitos in the foothills.
